For over 75 years the NC State College of Natural Resources
has been a leading force in natural resource education,
research and service. Our graduates hold leadership
positions in government, industry and natural resource
advocacy.
Our internationally acclaimed faculty make a difference
daily through professional education, research and extension
activities that support three of the top five industries
in North Carolina- forest products, wood and paper products
and tourism.
Nearly 1000 undergraduate and 200 graduate students
are enrolled in our 3 departments: Forestry and Environmental
Resources; Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management;
and Wood and Paper Science. Through undergraduate research,
industry co-ops and internships, and challenging classroom
activities, our students are mastering fundamentals
and gaining critical thinking skills. Our learners become
leaders - guiding our world's natural resource decisions
for a sustainable future.
